2011: Played in 63 sets...117 kills...107 digs...22 aces...18 blocks...ranked sixth on the team in kills and digs...notched 12 kills versus Plymouth State (10/1) and Western New England (10/15)...collected 12 digs against Connecticut College (9/24)...tallied three aces versus Regis (9/3), Connecticut College (9/24), and Bridgewater State(10/22)...posted three blocks against Tufts (9/24) and Amherst (10/21)...NEWMAC academic all-conference team.

2010: Played 62 sets ...114 kills...71 digs...21 aces...12 blocks...ranked fifth on the team in kills...posted season-high 16 kills and two blocks against Springfield (10/23)...had 11 digs versus Keene State (9/4)...registered three aces against Williams (9/24).

Off the court at MIT: Majoring in biological engineering...conducting research in the Sinskey Lab...member of the Panhel Community Service Committee...Sigma Kappa sorority...MIT Campus Crusade for Christ.

Why I Chose MIT: I was first attracted to MIT's impressive academics, great emphasis on research, and hands-on work. I loved the innovative approaches to the world that MIT students embody, and the hard-working attitudes of all the students and the athletes that I met. When I got to know the volleyball team better, I longed to be a part of that family. It was wonderful to see the volleyball players working together cooperatively both as an athletic team, and as classmates. I wanted to attend a school that would support my commitments to volleyball, work, research, academics, extracurricular activities, and even allow some free-time in my hectic schedule to kick-back with friends. I was moved by the students and faculty at MIT, and I yearned to be a part of the MIT family.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Pine Crest High School...four-year letterwinner...captain senior year...runner-up in FHSAA State Championship (2007)...Sun-Sentinel honorable mention...two-time Sun-Sentinel second team all-county...two-time Miami Herald first team all-county...graduated as Pine Crest all-time kills leader...Beta Honors...National Spanish Honor Society...National Society of High School Scholars...AP Scholar with Distinction...National AP Scholar...AVCA Team Academic Award (2008, 2009).
