NEW LONDON, Conn. – At the conclusion of the NCAA Women's Volleyball New England Regional Championship on Sunday, freshman Ada Taylor (Durham, N.C.) was selected to the All-Tournament Team. The honor comes after MIT fell to UMass Boston, the eventual regional winner, in its first NCAA tournament appearance since 2007.
Taylor paced the Engineers with 13 kills and a .357 hitting percentage to go along with a block. She generated five kills on eight errorless hitting attempts in MIT's opening set victory, produced two kills in the second frame, and tacked on another in the third. Taylor concluded the match with another five-kill performance.
