Lexington, Ky. (November 15) – For the third year in a row MIT senior Megan Gebhard (Howell, Mich.) was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Team. A third-team selection, she closed her career as the program's only multiple All-America honoree. Fellow senior Tori Wuthrich (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) and sophomore Abby Bertics (La Jolla, Calif.) represented the women's volleyball team on the New England All-Region Team.

Gebhard finished the year ranked second all-time at MIT in career kills (1,625) and career kills per set (3.97) while placing eighth in career hitting percentage (.280). Wuthrich, a repeat All-Region selection, appeared in 469 out of the 480 sets the Engineers played the past four years. During that time, she amassed 1,975 digs and a 4.21 digs per set average to rank third and second, respectively, in the record book. Bertics, another two-time pick, has produced 472 kills, a .299 hitting percentage, and 98 blocks over the course of the past two seasons.
