CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - For the second year in row, MIT was the lone Division III program to have its men’s and women’s volleyball teams qualify for the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. The Engineers were the sole representatives on the Division III men’s list and joined Harvard University and Stanford University as the only institutions to double-up on AVCA accolades. READ MORE

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — MIT announced today the 2010 schedules for the 14 varsity sports that will compete during the fall season. Five Tech teams will begin their defense of conference titles this fall, including the reigning New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) champions in men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, women’s soccer and men’s tennis. Schedules were also released for MIT’s four varsity crew programs, as well as the football, men’s soccer, women’s tennis, women’s volleyball and water polo teams. READ MORE
