Engineers Sweep Brandeis In Women's Volleyball

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In its home debut, the MIT women's volleyball team did not drop a game as it defeated local rival Brandeis University, 30-20, 30-23, 30-26, on Tuesday night. Caroline Jordan recorded 18 kills and a .739 hitting performance despite the Engineers' (4-0) hitting just .186 as a team. Jordan paced Tech's blocking corps with five assisted blocks while Briana Stephenson four total blocks. Lindsay Hunting, Austin Zimmerman, and Frances Rogoz each tallied a pair of aces. Zimmerman dished out 18 assists in two games while picking up a team-high 10 digs. Amanda Morris took over setting duties in the third game and posted 10 assists. Arlis Reynolds anchored the backline, receiving serve at a 2.82 clip and totaling eight digs.
