MIT Falls to Tufts, 3-1, in Women's Volleyball

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - MIT fell to Tufts University, 30-14, 23-30, 30-22, 30-28, on Wednesday night. It was only the fourth time the Engineers had lost to the Jumbos since the series began in 1982. Joy Hart had her second double-double of the week, tallying 17 kills and 20 digs. Arlis Reynolds also finished with 20 digs and posted a team-best three aces. Rookie Ellen Sojka notched a career-high 15 kills while Lisa Rossi totaled 12 digs. Caroline Jordan contributed 11 digs and was among four players to have two assisted blocks. Austin Zimmerman dished out 42 assists and had 17 digs.
MIT hosts Babson College in a NEWMAC match tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in Rockwell Cage.
