2017-18: Did not compete in a regatta.
2016-17: CRCA Scholar-Athlete... Lauer competed in six events, all in the varsity 8 boat... She rowed four times in the #3 seat and twice in the #1 seat... Was in the #3 seat the Head of the Charles on 10/23 as the team finished third of nine... Was seventh in the grand final at the Knecht Cup on 4/9 and in the #3 seat in the grand final at the Dad Vail Regatta on 5/12-13. [COMPLETE RESULTS]
2015-16: CRCA Scholar Athlete … IRA All-Academic Team … appeared in 10 events, seven as the #4 seat in the V8 … was the #3 seat of the V8 that finished fifth in the grand finals of the IRA National Championship (6/5) … won the grand final of the Dad Vail Regatta (5/14) … placed second in the petite final of the Lightweight Invitational (4/17). 2014-15: In a starting role in the V8 boat as a freshman … started the season in the bow for the Head of the Charles (10/19) and the Foot of the Charles (11/15) in the fall … started the spring season in the seven seat at the San Diego Crew Classic (3/28) … moved to the four seat against Bates, Simmons, and Vermont (4/4) … shifted to the six position for the next three races … moved to the five seat at the Beanpot/Muri Cup (4/25), the Dad Vail Regatta (5/8), and the IRA Championships (5/30) … helped the Engineers to a win at Dad Vail and to the petite finals at the IRAs.
Off The Water at MIT: Majoring in computer science with a minor in energy studies and a concentration in economics … internships with Ravenna Solutions, Saperium, Google and Redfin... Member of Sigma Kappa... Webmaster of the MIT Undergraduate Association on Sustainability.... Worked on the MIT D-Lab Android app to train doctors internationally on identifying pulmonary diseases.
