Men's Fencing Produces Four Top-10 Finishes at The Big One Invitational

THE BASICS:

- Event: The Big One Invitational

- Location: Northampton, Mass. (Smith College)

- The Lead: The MIT men's fencing team kicked off the 2019-20 season by producing four top-10 finishes at The Big One Invitational hosted by Smith College on Saturday. Sophomore Robert Law (Los Altos, Calif.) led the way with a fifth-place finish in foil while senior Yixuan Pei (Baltimore, Md.) recorded a career-best seventh-place performance for the epee unit. Sophomore Aaron Lu (Belmont, Calif.) rounded out the Engineers by ranking seventh in the sabre standings.
