CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Michael Kaba (Jackson, N.J.) has been named as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Kaba led the way for the Engineers at their first home meet of the outdoor season with a pair of individual victories. Kaba started his day first in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 15.37-seconds and also took first in the 400-meter hurdles in 53.71. Both of his times rank him fourth fastest in the country after this weekend. Kaba helped MIT to the team victory at the quad meet with 227 points as the Engineers bested RPI, Tufts and Bates.
