Women's Fencing Posts Seven Top-10 Finishes at The Big One Invitational

- The Lead: The MIT women's fencing team opened the 2019-20 season by generating seven top-10 finishes at The Big One Invitational hosted by Smith College on Saturday. Senior Tesla Wells (Phoenix, Ariz.) led the epee unit with a career-best tie for third place while first-year Amanda Hu (Potomac, Md.) tied for third place in the foil standings. Fellow first-year Kristen Palmer (Brooklyn, N.Y.) powered the sabre squad by tying for fifth place.
