The quartet of sophomore Julia Howarth, sophomore Madeline Hon, junior Sonia Purohit, and first-year Olivia Dias were impressive at the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University in the 4x400 relay, finishing fifth overall and first in their heat in a time of 3:56.56. This mark ranks the team ninth in the country and is the fastest by an MIT 4x400 in 10 years.
