In the season-opening MIT Invitational, the top-seeded doubles team of senior Sarah Pertsemlidis and sophomore Jessica Lu captured the doubles championship with four victories over the two days of doubles play. The duo took the first-round match by an 8-4 final and then dropped just three games combined in the quarters and the semifinals before defeating No. 2 seeded Amy Cui and Katelyn Hart of Amherst by an 8-7 score in the championship match.
