Niles Liu First Place Pool: 6-0 Round of 64: Won 15-1 vs. Alexander Cheng (UNH)
Round of 32: Won 15-2 vs. Andrew Otersen (UNH)
Round of 16: Won 15-5 vs. Sam Choun (Brandeis)
Round of 8: Won 15-2 vs. Tony Xiao (MIT)
Semifinals: Won 15-11 vs. Patrick Xinyi Liu (MIT)
Final: Won 15-6 vs. Temple Jackson (Northeastern)

The MIT men's fencing team opened up the 2022-23 season by recording nine top-10 finishes at The Big One Invitational hosted by Smith College on Saturday. All of the Engineers' foil entries ranked in the top 10, highlighted by first-year Niles Liu's first-place performance.
