At the John Thomas Terrier Classic at BU, Sam Acquaviva finished second in his heat and is now ranked No. 2 in the nation as he ran a school-record time of 8:00.41 in the 3,000 meters. The time is No. 3 on the all-time Division III performance list and shatters the previous record of 8:11.60.
