Sam Engebretson won the weight throw at the Suffolk Relays with a career-best mark of 60 feet, one inch. He also finished second in the shot put with a throw of 53 feet, 1.75 inches that would have made the NCAA acceptance list last season. Nationally, Engebretson ranks second in the weight throw and fourth in the shot put.
