Last Saturday, the MIT women’s openweight Second Varsity 8+ defeated Boston College for the first time in program history. The Engineers took any early lead and held on through the middle of the race. Their sprint opened the lead as MIT crossed the finish line in 7:13.2, six seconds ahead of the Eagles.
