Phelps totaled 172 total yards and a career-high three touchdowns to lead MIT to a 37-17 non-conference win at Bridgewater State University on Saturday. Phelps rushed 22 times for 123 yards and a pair of scores. He also caught two passes for 49 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown reception at the end of the first half. Phelps' three scores matched his total from his rookie season in just the first game of his sophomore campaign.
