Emily Ball earned All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, finishing sixth in the shot put with a career best mark of 14.19m (46' 6.75"). Ball's second throw was the best attempt for the MIT senior, earning the Engineers three valuable points in the team standings that helped the team go on to clinch the NCAA Championship.
