Sophomore Madi Pickett played a crucial role in No. 20 MIT Softball’s win at the Super Regional Championships last week, hitting a home run in the first Super Regional game against No. 12 Williams to move the Engineers to a 4-2 lead that ultimately won the first game of the series. That was Pickett’s fourth of the season, which ties her with Michelle Wist for the most on the team. The Engineers would go on to become Super Regional Champions for the second time in three years over the weekend and advanced to the NCAA Division III National Championship in Oklahoma City.
