In a 4-0 week for MIT, Christina Liao totaled 151 assists, 22 digs, seven aces, and five blocks while the Engineers hit .342 for the week. She posted 30 assists, six digs, and three blocks in three sets of a 25-14, 23-25, 25-10, 25-16 win at Mount Ida last Tuesday. Liao kicked off the MIT Quad Tournament on Friday by generating 41 assists, four digs, and three aces while the Engineers hit .374 in a 25-14, 25-14, 25-12 victory over SUNY Oneonta. The following morning, she posted 27 assists, six digs, and two aces in two sets of a 25-13, 25-13, 25-12 win against Mount Saint Vincent that saw MIT hit .488. Liao concluded the week with 53 assists, six digs, two blocks, and two aces in a 20-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21 victory to help MIT capture the tournament title.
