Junior Kareem Itani scored the game winning goal in overtime to lift MIT to a 3-2 win over Wheaton. Itani’s goal was his sixth of the season and fifth game winner of his career. Itani is now ranked second on the team in goals (6) and points (16). With the win, MIT remains undefeated in NEWMAC action at 4-0-0 and sports an overall record of 9-1-1. The win over Wheaton and 0-0 draw against Brandeis placed the Engineers as No. 21 in the latest NSCAA Coaches Poll.
