First-years Brooke Schmelz (Monmouth Beach, N.J.) and Samantha Karlson (Groton, Conn.) won five races during their rotations while also earning two second-place finishes at the 2021 Stu Nelson Trophy over the weekend. The duo finished second out of 13 teams in the B Division with 43 points.
