At the season-opening Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University, junior Matthew Kearney finished in a time of 14:23.48 that broke the MIT school record that was previously held by former All-American Matt Deyo from 2016. Overall, Kearney was 58th out of 84 overall finishers.
