Junior Edenna Chen was a pivotal player in No. 9 MIT's upset victories over No. 6 NYU and No. 5 Tufts in a 2-1 weekend for swimming & diving. Chen started off on Friday with two key relay victories in the 400 medley and 200 free relays, and also contributed an individual win in the 100 breast (1:03.62), which is an NCAA B cut. Chen was also runner-up in the 200 breast (2:20.26), which was also an NCAA B cut. On Saturday, she followed up with two more individual wins in the 100 and 200 breast and contributed to a relay victory in the opening 200 medley relay against Tufts.
