- The Lead: After falling behind 1-0 early in the match, the MIT men's soccer team scored three straight goals in 10 minutes to defeat Springfield College, 3-2 on the road on Saturday afternoon for the Engineers' fourth straight win.

Martin McDermott gave the Pride a 1-0 lead at 12:46, and the Engineers looked to quickly respond, but shots from seniors
Hendrik Mayer (Montville, N.J.) and
Will Seiple (Boulder, Colo.) were turned away.

- The Engineers rallied to take the lead in the second half with three-straight goals. Senior
Richter Brzeski (Los Angeles, Calif.) sent a pass to junior
Aidan Hallinan (Carlsbad, Calif.) who buried the shot at 58:51 to tie the game.

- Just a few moments later, senior
Adam Snowdon (Lorton, Va.) scored in the 62nd minute to give the Engineers the lead. Junior
Garrett Robinson (Winfield, Ill.) set up Brzeski at 68:05 for what proved to be the decisive goal as
Chris Cruz scored for the Pride at 70:12.

- MIT out shot the Pride 27-11 and held a 15-4 advantage in shots on goal.

- Each team was awarded six corner kicks on the day.

- Robinson is now tied for the team lead with nine points while Brzeski has seven.
