HOW IT HAPPENED

- Set 2: Vassar held onto the lead early in the set before a kill from sophomore Ryan Espinoza (Los Angeles, Calif.) and an attacking error tied the match at 16. The Engineers used a 3-0 run to gain a 21-19 lead, but Vassar tied the match at 23. The teams continued to go back-and-forth and a kill from Oh would tie the match at 31, but Vassar was able to close it out, scoring the next two points for the 33-31 win.
