  • Senior Kennedy Adkison (San Jose, Calif.) tripled to lead off the third and came around to score on a single by classmate Mackenzie Bivin (San Diego, Calif.) to make it 3-0. The big hit of the inning came off the bat of junior Ava Ladd (Houston, Texas) whose grand slam put MIT up 13-0.
