CAMBRIDGE, Mass.  – William Knowlton was named the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC) Air Rifle Shooter of the Week for the week ending October 25. This is the second time in his career he received this honor and the first this season.
 
In the Engineers' victories over Schreiner University and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy on Sunday, Knowlton shot a career-high score of 578. His total, good for second best of the match, helped lead MIT to its second highest team score of the season (4,506). Individually, Knowlton currently ranks in the top 20 in the conference in air rifle.
 
MIT returns to action on Sunday, November 8 when it hosts Ohio State at 10:00 AM.
