Fiora Beratahani Sweeps Boards at NCAA Diving Regionals

NEW LONDON, Conn. - Six members of the No. 5 MIT women's swimming and diving team competed at the two-day NCAA Diving Regionals at the Lott Natatorium on the campus of Connecticut College from Friday through Saturday. Fiora Beratahani led the way as the junior won both boards during the competition. 

MIT Divers: 

  • Fiora Beratahani 
    • 1-Meter – 1st (442.30 points) Defeated Donna Zhang of Amherst by just over two points. 
    • 3- Meter – 1st (485.90 points) 
  • Kailey Epstein 
    • 1-Meter – 16th (382.15 points) 
    • 3-Meter – 20th (368.40 points) 
  • Larissa Gosslau 
    • 1-Meter – 26th (337.50 points) 
    • 3-Meter – 22nd (354.05 points) 
  • Emma Scott 
    • 1-Meter – 10th (409.90 points) 
    • 3-Meter – 7th (437.85 points) 
  • Logan Yee 
    • 1-Meter – 8th (416.90 points) 
    • 3-Meter – 5th (445.45 points) 
  • Maya Zavatsky 
    • 1-Meter – 21st (359.75 points) 
    • 3-Meter – 19th (369.15 points)

  • The divers will find out on Monday, March 2nd if they will be heading to Indianapolis for the NCAA Championships which begin on Wednesday, March 18.
