CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — MIT women's lightweight crew senior Callie Karjane was named to the 2026 CRCA/Pocock All-American Lightweight First Team following the 2025-2026 season.

The CRCA/Pocock All-American Awards recognize the most outstanding collegiate rowers and coxswains across all NCAA divisions and the lightweight category. This prestigious recognition honors athletes who have demonstrated elite athletic performance, leadership, consistency, and dedication throughout the season, earning distinction among the top rowers in the nation. 

Karjane was a fixture in MIT's varsity eight lineup throughout the year, rowing in the third seat as MIT earned silver at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta and in the fifth seat at the Head Of The Charles Regatta in the fall. She raced in every regatta the Engineers appeared in this spring, earning bronze in the second varsity eight at the Knecht Cup, while helping MIT advance to the Grand Final at IRA Women's Sprints and claim gold in the varsity eight grand final at Dad Vail. Karjane helped MIT advance to the Grand Final at the IRA National Championship.
