Biography

2015-16: Appeared in nine events, five as a member of the Varsity 8 … rowed in the #2 seat of the Varsity 8 that finished fifth in the third level final of the EARC Sprints (5/15) … was the #7 seat of the Collegiate 8 that captured fourth place at the Head of the Charles (10/18) … defeated Bates and Rhode Island as the #4 seat of the Varsity 8 (4/23). 2014-15: IRA All-Academic Team ... competed in 10 races ... rowed in the #7 seat in six events ... helped the Varsity 4+ finish fourth in the petite final of the IRA National Championship (5/31) from the #1 seat ... occupied the #7 seat of the Varsity 8 at the EARC Sprints (5/17) that placed fourth in the third level final ... contributed to Varsity 8 victories at the Donahue Cup (4/11) and against Georgetown at the Devil's Lake Challenge (5/2) from the #1 seat ... opened the season in the #1 seat for the Collegiate 8 boat at the Head of the Charles (10/19) and the Varsity 8 at the Princeton Chase (10/26). (Complete Boatings)

2012-13: Competed in every race this season ... switched between the #2 and the #6 seats ... opened his first collegiate season at the Head of the Charles (10/21), sitting in the #2 seat of the Varsity A boat ... rowed in the #2 seat of the A boat against Holy Cross, Dartmouth and Columbia (4/06) ... sat in the #6 seat at the Princeton Chase (10/28), against Williams, WPI, Franklin & Marshall and Connecticut College (4/13), Trinity, Colgate and the University of Rhode Island (4/29) and against Boston University and the University of Wisconsin (5/04) ... sat in the #2 seat of the Varsity 4A boat at the IRA National Championships (5/31-6/02).

Off the Water at MIT: Majoring in computer science and engineering with a minor in economics … completed a software engineering internship with Instagram/Facebook … was a software developer with IBM Security Appscan Source … conducted a UROP at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research where he studied conservation of noncoding DNA sequences … Kappa Sigma.
