2011-12: Competed in the #5 seat on the varsity boat at the Head of the Charles (10/22) … saw action in the #2 seat in the MIT A boat at the Foot of the Charles (11/19) … raced in the MIT varsity four boat at the IRA National Championship (6/2) … competed on the MIT varsity team at the San Diego Crew Championship (3/31); at Yale (4/7); against Harvard (4/14); versus Cornell (4/21) and at Penn (4/28).
Off The Water at MIT: Majoring in chemical engineering with a concentration in acting … was a summer intern at Boston Green Energy Startup – Promethean Power … researched in ONE Lab where he was designing, growing and optimizing organic photovoltaic devices … president of SAE … first generation college student … first student from his high school to attend MIT in the last seven years … won junior nationals in openweight men’s pair … attended the U.S. World Trials in the lightweight pair and double in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
