Andrew Ding enters his second season as an assistant for the MIT squash team in 2025-26.
Ding graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 2023 where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Bioengineering and in Chemistry with Minor in Psychology While there he was Heavily involved in research and science outreach (Li Lab, Kannan Lab, Mudar Lab, Bioscience Journal Club, Volunteer Tutoring, etc.)
He then came to MIT in 2023 as Biological Engineering PhD Student ans was also a member of the squash team. He works part time as a squash instructor for DAPER where he teaches private and group squash lessons.
Ding played squash in juniors and was a part-time squash instructor for the Life Time Fitness Club back home in Illinois.Â
