Biography

2015-16: Honorable Mention All-American (100 Back, 200 Back) … NEWMAC Swimmer of the Week (1/11) … NEWMAC Relay Team of the Week (1/25) … at the NCAA Division III National Championship (3/16-19) touched the wall ninth overall (first in the “B” final) in the 100-back (49.09) and 14th overall in the 200-back (1:48.98) for Honorable Mention All-America honors … at the NEWMAC Championship (2/18-21), placed sixth in the 200-IM in 1:54.97, fourth in the 100-back in 50.83, eighth with the 400-medley relay team in 3:22.26 and ninth in the 200-back in 1:54.14 … at the MIT Winter Invitational (12/4-6), earned third place in the 400-medley relay (3:21.50), third in the 200-medley relay (1:30.83), fourth in the 800-free relay (6:48.93), seventh in the 200-IM (1:56.84), eighth in the 400-IM (4:08.56) and ninth in the 200-back (1:56.89) … individually swam 14 NCAA “B” cut times as a senior.

2014-15: All-American (400 Medley Relay) ... Honorable Mention All-American (200 IM, 400 IM, 800 Free Relay) ... NEWMAC Champion (200 IM, 400 Medley Relay) … at the NCAA Division III National Championship (3/18-21), touched the wall fourth with the 400-medley relay team as the leadoff swimmer in 3:15.67 for All-America honors as well as ninth in the 200-IM (1:48.59), tenth in the 400-IM (3:57.93) and 12th in the 800-free relay (6:43.88) for Honorable Mention All-America accolades … at the NEWMAC Championship (2/19-22), clinched the league title in the 200-IM in 1:52.44 and the 400-medley relay in 3:20.81 … also took third in the 400-IM (4:08.73), eighth in the 200-back (1:56.55) and eighth with the 200-medley relay (1:32.84) at the conference championship … at the MIT Winter Invitational (12/5-7), aided the 800-free relay team to second place in 6:45.72, the 400-medley relay team to second in 3:21.08  and individually won the 400-IM (3:56.43) and the 200-IM (1:52.61) ... individually swam 18 NCAA "B" cut times as a junior.

2013-14: Honorable Mention All-American (200 IM, 400 IM, 800 Free Relay) … NEWMAC first team All-Conference (200 IM, 400 IM, 400 Medley Relay) … NEWMAC second team All-Conference (200 Back, 800 Free Relay) …CSCAA Scholar All-American ... started the season by winning the 200 back with a time of 1:55.32 at the meet against Springfield (11/9) … at the MIT Winter Invitational (12/6-7), he touched in second in both the 200 IM (1:51.86) and the 400 IM (4:02.58), came third in the 200 back in 1:50.97 and was part of the 800 free relay that took second in 6:53.18 … at the NEWMAC Championships (2/20-23), he was first in the 200 IM (1:49.66) and the 400 IM (3:55.42), breaking the NEWMAC and meet records in the latter … he also led off the winning 400 medley relay which broke the meet and pool records with its time of 3:18.40 … he was second in the 200 back in 1:50.60 and swam the 100 fly time trial, touching first with a time of 51.41 … at the NCAA Championships (3/19-22),  he was 16th in the 200 IM in 1:52.02, after swimming a 1:50.84 at prelims, came in 12th in the 400 IM with a 3:58.64, touched in 17th in the 200 back with a time of 1:49.24 and was part of the 800 free relay that was ninth in 6:42.08.

2012-13: All-American (200 Back, 400 IM) … NEWMAC First Team All-Conference (400 IM) … NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference (200 IM, 200 Back) … had a strong first season on the team … throughout the season, he won the 200 IM at four different meets and the 400 IM at three meets … against Williams (1/11), he came fifth in the 100 back in 53.49 and eighth in the 200 breast with a time of 2:15.00 … came second in both the 100 breast and the 200 back with times of 1:01.82 and 1:55.35 respectively … at the NEWMAC Championships (2/15-17), he came second in the 200 IM with an NCAA B cut time of 1:51.39 after getting a personal best time of 1:50.80 at prelims … led off the 400 medley relay that came second in prelims in 3:24.69 … broke the NEWMAC Meet and Open records and the MIT school record when he came first in the 400 IM with a time of 3:58.17 … was second in the 200 back in an A cut time and personal record of 1:49.01 … time trialed the 100 fly, touching in second place with a time of 50.97 … time trialed the 100 breast, going 58.03 … at the NCAA Championships (3/20-23), he came eighth in the 200 back in 1:50.73 after going a personal best time of 1:48.77 at prelims … came sixth in the 400 IM with a 3:56.63 after going 3:55.67 at prelims, breaking his own MIT record … came 18th in the 200 IM in 1:51.15.

Out of the Pool at MIT: Majoring in electrical engineering and computer science with minor in mechanical engineering and economics … conducted a UROP in the Interactive Robotics Lab … MIT FSAE.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Bethlehem Central High School … 2012 NYS Section II MVP … 2012 Bethlehem Central High School Senior Swimmer MVP … New York State Championship Meet qualifier … holds 61 Delmar Dolfin team records, two BCHS school records and five BCHS pool records … N.Y.
