Under Urbanus' guidance, Loh was chosen as the NEWMAC women's Diver of the Year and Urbanus was awarded the NEWMAC Women's Diving Coach of the Year honor.

Urbanus comes to MIT after serving as the Assistant Diving Coach at Springfield College from 2017-19 under the direction of 20-time NEWMAC Diving Coach of the Year Peter Avdoulos. In two years with the Pride, Urbanus coached eight All-Americans.

Prior to Springfield, Urbanus served as the Assistant Diving Coach at South Shore Diving Club. When she is not coaching diving, Urbanus is a Unit Coordinator at Mass General Hospital.

Urbanus was a two-time All-American diver for Division I University of Connecticut. She served as captain for two years, earned the UConn Club Outstanding Senior Athlete Award and twice earned the UConn Outstanding Diver Award.

Urbanus holds her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and went on to earn her Masters in Sport and Exercise Physiology from Springfield College in 2019.
