- Won the NEWMAC shot put title with a throw of 46 feet, 1.5 inches
- Posted a season-best throw of 143 feet, six inches in the hammer at the NEWMAC Championship
Off the Track at MIT:
- Majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in design
- Also a member of the MIT football team, where he was a NEWMAC First Team All-Conference performer as a rookie
