Biography

2016: Played in 41 sets…posted nine kills and three digs against Johnson & Wales (1/19)…tallied eight kills, five digs, four blocks, and three aces versus Regis (1/21)…produced seven kills, three aces, and two digs against Daniel Webster (1/16).

Off the Court at MIT: Major is undecided.

Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT because being here lets me constantly push myself in academics and athletics while also opening the door to unmatched opportunity. Aside from the rigor, one of the most valuable aspects of my MIT experience is the sheer variety of interests and extracurriculars exhibited by the student population. With hobbies ranging from rocketry to leisure conceptual physics study, MIT students are united in their desire to bring about meaningful and positive change to the world through science and technology.

High School: A 2015 graduate of Lynbrook High School...three-time all-division...three-time San Jose Mercury News honorable mention...earned four varsity letters...named Freshman as well as Sophomore of the Year...two-time Scholar Athlete...was also a member of the swim team...Honor Roll...Siemens Competition scholar...Athletics Unlimited secretary...Astronomical Society presenter.

Club: Mountain View Volleyball Club...open division competitors in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015.
