2015: UVC All-Academic...played in 90 sets...ranked fourth in UVC in blocks per set (1.03) and 10th in hitting percentage (.325)...amassed 14 kills and a .875 hitting percentage against Newbury (2/7)...tallied 13 kills, eight digs, and six blocks at Penn State-Behrend (2/14)...compiled 11 kills, a .455 hitting percentage, 10 blocks, and three aces at Endicott (2/25)...produced 12 kills and four blocks in his intercollegiate debut at Emerson (1/23)...generated nine blocks versus Emerson (2/7).

Off the Court at MIT: Majoring in computer science...completed an internship at Table XI Tech Consulting.

Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT because I wanted a place where not only is it expected that you work hard, but it's a requirement. Playing volleyball at the college level requires a huge time commitment on top of the extremely rigorous classes they offer here. I love pushing myself to the limits of what I can do. On top of that, the MIT student body is extremely motivated, and it's inspiring to be around people with intense drive to improve on and off the court. The best part is this intense drive doesn't get in the way of having fun. I could see that if you needed to decompress, you could have fun with any one of your peers.

High School: A 2014 graduate of New Trier High School...captain...two-time all-conference...Illinois all-star game...team finished fifth in the state...two-time all-tournament...2014 Chicago Sun Times notable player...earned two varsity letters...National Physics Teachers Association Award for excellence in physics...mathematics distinction...Senior Award for Outstanding Achievement in Mathematics...AP Scholar with Distinction...Honor Roll for eight semesters.
