Biography

2013: Played in 43 sets...65 digs...11 aces...collected eight digs and two aces against Daniel Webster on two occasions (1/26 and 3/15)...also earned a pair of aces versus Emerson (2/16) and Regis (4/5).

Off the Court at MIT: Majoring in computer science.

Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT because as a school, it provided me with the largest opportunity for growth. I would be pushed academically like never before. I would be exposed to new perspectives and cultures. I would be able to continue to develop as an athlete in a competitive and exciting atmosphere. When looking at my life and considering where I want to be 10 years down the road, MIT is the best fit for my aspirations. Living with and learning from the top students, professors, and companies will undoubtedly provide me with an unparalleled support network and limitless opportunities. MIT is a catalyst for development. It is the only place in the world I would want to be.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Lynbrook High School...two-year team captain...Santa Clara Valley Athletic League MVP...first-team all-league...led the league in aces and was 12th in California for service ace percentage...two-time Most Inspirational Player...two-time league champions...also played baseball...valedictorian...National Honor Society president...Spanish Honor Society...Student Body president as a senior and treasurer as a junior...sophomore class president...Intra-District Council Representative...Fellowship of Christian Athletes president...Scholar Athlete...National Merit Scholarship.
