Off the Court at MIT: Majoring in aerospace engineering with a minor in mechanical engineering … completed an internship at KVH Industries … conducted a UROP in the Man Vehicle Lab with sEMG Variability in grasping motions … developed scratch and indentation tests with gas shale in the MIT Energy Initiative in X Lab in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT because I love math, science, and volleyball. MIT offered me the best of both worlds: a competitive volleyball program and an incredible education. The entire atmosphere surrounding MIT was the biggest selling point, however. Nowhere else can you find a community so dedicated to their work yet still so down to earth, not to mention the close proximity to the wonderful city of Boston.
