Sam Bruce enters his first season as an assistant coach for the MIT Sailing team after being a member of the team from 2020-2025. While a member of the team, Bruce was an honorable mention ICSA All-American Skipper, a two-time member of the ICSA All-Academic Team, a NEISA Second Team Open Crew member in 2022-23 and a First Team Open Skipper in 2023-24.Â
Bruce earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2024 from MIT and went on to earn his master's in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well. He is currently the CTO at SoundSeed.Â
