Favorite Sports Memory:
  • At international regattas, my favorite tradition has always been the team meetings after a day of racing. Gathered around the dinner table, we’d review tracker data and analyze each other’s techniques. Then, as we passed around memories of our team’s early days, our coaches would do the same — telling stories of the generation before us. Those evenings always left me with a sense of continuity, as if we were part of a much longer journey in the sport.
