Off the Field at MIT: Majoring in physics with a minor in astronomy and a concentration in ethics … completed a UROP with the MIT Space Systems Lab where she created CAD parts in SolidWorks in order to build scale model penetrator probes and conduct drop testing for planetary science applications in the spring of 2017 … During the summer of 2017, she is completing a UROP with the MIT LIGO Lab where she is currently conducting research on shear piezos to improve Michelson interferometer actuators … Currently on a team of Simmons frosh chairs in charge of scheduling Simmons REX events.
