Keri Lehtonen joins the MIT staff for her second season in 2024. 

Lehtonen is a 2019 graduate of Brandeis University where she earned her degree in psychology. On the field she was a four-year starter behind the plate and ranked 12th in batting average, 7th in putouts and 11th in fielding percentage. 

in 2023 Lehtonen was a member of the 2023 NEWMAC Softball Staff of the Year and the NFCA Region II Coaching Staff of the Year. She assisted in MIT finishing with a 36-8 record and winning the program's second NEWMAC Championship as well as an NCAA Regional.
