AT MIT
A former All-Region and All-Conference performer for the Engineers, Jake Cobb is in his first season as an assistant coach with the MIT cross country program in 2026.
Cobb appeared in all six cross country events for the Engineers as a senior. He closed the out the year by earning a fourth consecutive All-Conference honor with a 10th place finish in 25:53.8 at the NEWMAC Championships before going on to run a career-best 8k at the NCAA Division East Region Championships, finishing 7th in 24:43.5. He finished 142nd overall at the NCAA Division III Championships with a time of 25:37.9.
Overall, Cobb was a two-time USTFCCCA All-Region (2023, 2025) and four-time NEWMAC All-Conference (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) honoree who was also named the 2022 NEWMAC Rookie of the Year.Â
EDUCATION
Cobb graduated from MIT in 2026 with a degree in Computer Science and Molecular Biology.
