Off the Cross Country Trail:
- Majoring in mechanical engineering
- Interned at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems in the electronics and payloads division
- Also interned at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
- Conducted research in flow boiling in nuclear reactors and critical heat flux
- Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholar and a Pedrozzi Scholar
High School:
- Ran cross country and track at Granada High School, where she was a four-year letterwinner in both sports
- Mercury News Athlete of the Week
- Finished second in the California State Cross Country Championship as a senior
- Placed 18th at Nike Cross Country Nationals as a senior
- Finished seventh at the California State Track and Field Championship in the 3,200 during her senior year
