2016-17: NCAA Qualifier … NEWMAC Champion (400 Free Relay, 800 Free Relay) … NEWMAC Women’s Relay Team of the Week (12/5) … aided the Engineers to their best finish in program history at the NCAA Division III Championship as MIT placed fifth with a team score of 165 points … in her first NCAA appearance, placed 11th with the 400 free relay team (3:26.88) as the leadoff swimmer and individually touched the wall 39th in the 200 free (1:53.94) … at the NEWMAC Championship, claimed the league title with the 400 free relay team (3:27.42) and the 800 free relay team (7:34.77) … additionally, placed third in the 200 free (1:53.58) and the 500 free (5:01.13), fourth in the 100 free (52.94) and 11th – first in the “B” final – in the 400 medley relay (3:54.91) … her time in the 500 free of 5:01.13 was a season best for the freshman … at the MIT Winter Invitational, touched the wall first in the 200 free with a season best time of 1:52.62, first in the 800 free relay (7:31.09), second in the 100 free (52.64) and the 400 free relay (3:28.79), fourth in the 200 free relay (1:38.50) and the 400 medley relay (3:56.44), sixth in the 200 medley relay (1:51.01) and tenth in the 50 free (25.42) and the 100 breast (1:10.21) … her swims during prelims of the invite in the 50 free (24.69), 100 free (52.52) and 100 breast (1:08.03) were all season bests … during regular season dual meets, posted 21 top-5 finishes in her respective events including two wins in the 200 free which came against Springfield & Wellesley as well as Coast Guard … individually swam one NCAA “B” cut time as a freshman.
Out of the Pool at MIT: Majoring in biological engineering with a minor in business analytics and a concentration in Japanese.
High School: A 2016 graduate of Chesterton High School … four-time varsity letterwinner … team captain of the swim team … Mental Attitude Recipient … team record holder … four-time state finalist … also swam for the Duneland Swim Club … National Honor Society … completed research at the University of Notre Dame Department of Biological Sciences in the In-Vivo Imaging Facility … three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
