Biography

2014-15: Saw most of her action in doubles in her final season at MIT … led the team in doubles wins … finished the year with a 20-8 doubles record … 6-1 in singles play … second team All-NEWMAC at No. 2 doubles … Academic All-NEWMAC … ITA Scholar Athlete … played all but one doubles match with Sonya Das… the pairing went 6-1 at No. 2 in conference play, going 19-8 overall … pair started the season with wins in four of their first five matches … after splitting a pair of matches at the ITA New England Regional, the duo won four straight, including a stretch of three matches in which they surrendered just two games … the pair won both of their matches at the NEWMAC Tournament … in the spring the pairing won matches against nationally ranked Brandeis (3/13), Chicago (3/23) and Vassar (4/18) … in the NCAA Tournament the pair won their first three matches, helping MIT to wins over Franciscan (5/8), Mary Washington (5/9) and Washington & Lee (5/10) … in singles play in the fall season she picked up conference wins against Wheaton (10/4) and Clark (10/10).

2013-14: Concentrated primarily on doubles play as a junior … second on the team in doubles victories … finished the year with an 18-6 doubles mark … 3-2 in singles, all at No. 6 … first team All-NEWMAC at No. 3 doubles for a second straight season … Academic All-NEWMAC … ITA Scholar Athlete … played all but one doubles match with Krystal Lai … duo went 5-0 at No. 3 in conference play, going 17-6 overall the one exception was an 8-0 win with Victoria Tam over Emerson (9/7) to start the season … after teaming with Lai the pair won their first four matches, including a pair of 8-0 wins over conference opponents … the duo won NEWMAC doubles team of the week honors after advancing to the quarterfinals of the ITA New England Regional … won matches against teams from Wesleyan and Tufts before falling to a duo from Williams … the pair did not lose again in the fall season … in the spring they picked up victories over pairings from national ranked Bates (4/4), Trinity (4/5), , Vassar (4/19) and Brandeis (4/22) … team scored an 8-2 win against Simmons (5/9) at the NCAA Tournament … started her singles season with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Emerson (9/7) … also scored wins against Bates and Simmons (4/25).

2012-13: Solid second season with the Engineers … led the team in doubles victories with a 21-6 record … fourth on the squad in singles wins with an 11-7 mark … first team All-NEWMAC at No. 3 doubles … second team All-NEWMAC at No. 5 singles … Academic All-NEWMAC … ITA Scholar Athlete … 4-1 in conference singles play and 7-0 in doubles … split her singles matches between the Nos. 3-5 positions … 3-0 at No. 3 … 3-3 at No. 5 … won three of her four matches that went to three sets ... went 13-5 in the No. 3 doubles position … 4-0 in No. 2 matches … started the season with 6-1, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-0 wins over Assumption (9/8) and Springfield (9/15) … season best four-match winning streak in singles …  started with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Wheaton at the NEWITT Tournament (10/13) … finished the streak with a thrilling 2-6, 6-3, 10-7 win over Whitworth (3/24) … took a 6-1, 6-1 No. 3 win against #28 Wellesley (4/5) … played most of her doubles with partner Sunnie Lampl … pairing led the team in doubles wins at 17-5 … they started the season winning 10 of their first 11 matches … started the year by blanking Assumption (9/8), 8-0 … the pair scored a total of four 8-0 wins during the year … the duo also scored 8-1 wins over Mount Holyoke (9/22), Clark (10/6) and Wheaton (10/12) … the team scored one of their 8-0 wins over Simmons (5/10) at the NCAA Tournament.

2011-12: Key component of the MIT lineup as a freshman … tied for second on the team in singles wins … second in doubles victories as well … second team All-NEWMAC at No. 2 doubles … ITA Scholar Athlete … named the NEWMAC Singles Player of the Week (9/26) … finished 11-12 in singles and 14-7 in doubles … played most of the year at No. 2 singles where she went 5-5 … also saw action at Nos. 1, 3 and 4 … posted a 10-4 record at No. 2 doubles … started the season winning her first six singles matches … took a 6-1, 6-0 win over Smith (9/10) to start the season … won 6-1, 6-1 over Connecticut College (10/1) … teamed with Julia Hsu in doubles to win 8-1 in their first two matches of the season against Smith and Clark (9/18) … started the spring season with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Colby (3/10) … blanked her opponent from Puerto Rico Mayaguez (4/9), 6-0, 6-0 … played her spring doubles with Anastasia Vishnevetsky … pairing went 9-5 … duo scored 8-2 wins over Salve Regina (10/15), Colby and Simmons (4/14).
