Todd Linder is entering his 12th year with the MIT track and field program in 2024-25 and serves as the associate head coach for the men's and women's track and field programs. In addition, he oversees the men's and women's throws and multi-events and is the recruiting coordinator.

During the 2023-24 season, Lindor's coached four-time NationalChampion Alexis Boynkin. During he indoor season the women's team finished fifth overall with Boynkin becoming the first student-athlete to win multiple events at an NCAA Championship. Boynkin won two event during outdoor. Nationals at which the Engineers took third to equal the best finish in program history. He was also named the  Linder was named the USTFCCCA East Region Women's Assistant Coach of the Year.

Serving as the interim director of cross country and track and field/track and field head coach for the 2022-23 season, Linder guided the Engineers to the 2023 NCAA Men's Outdoor Track and Field National Championship and a fourth-place podium for the women's program at the NCAA Championship meet. At the championship, Linder coached Alexis Boykin to the individual NCAA national title in the hammer throw as he was honored as the USTFCCCA Men's Outdoor Track and Field National Coach of the Year. During the indoor season, Linder guided the men's team to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Indoor National Championship, while the women's team had eight All-America performers at the meet.

Coach Linder came to MIT from the University of Rhode Island, where he was an assistant coach for the men's program coaching the jumps and throws.  Prior to this, he spent seven years at Sacred Heart University as the associate head coach for both the men's and women's track and field teams.  He coached the throws, multi-events, High Jump and Long Jump.

He is a USA Track & Field Level I and II certified coach in sprints, hurdles, relays, jumps, throws and combined events and Level III certified in throws.

Linder graduated with his Bachelor of Science from Appalachian University and earned his Master of Science in Technology Education from North Carolina A&T University.
