Becca Shaw is in her fifth year as an annual giving officer for DAPER in 2026-27.

Shaw previously served as an assistant coach with the MIT field hockey program for 11 seasons and was the special assistant to the athletic director/department head from 2019-2022. A multi-sport athlete at Middlebury College, her tenure with the MIT field hockey program was her first intercollegiate coaching position, as she was an assistant coach for the Winsor School (Mass.) varsity girls ice hockey team.

EDUCATION

Shaw graduated from Middlebury in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in sociology.

A four-year goalie and co-captain for the Panthers' field hockey team, Shaw helped her squad advance to the finals of the 2011 NCAA Tournament and finished her career ranking third in program history for goals against average (1.21). She carried over her success in the net to Middlebury's ice hockey team which was two-time NCAA semifinalists and three-time NESCAC champions. Shaw also appeared between the pipes for the women's lacrosse squad during her sophomore campaign.
